I’ve only read a couple of posts so far – Acceptance and the most recent one and one other – but I am enjoying them and seeing them as much like the experience, strength and hope that is shared.
I’m fascinated at how listening to each others horror stories becomes a positive force. But a part of it, the “it’s all about me” aspect, I think, is cathartic and freeing in ways I do not fully understand but only feel. That’s part of what I sense or feel that I’m witnessing in your writing.
Another part, of course, is the compulsive storyteller. THAT is something I can easily identify with.
Your story telling is so strong, it sweeps me up and in.
It’s important for you to share these experiences and feelings with others and equally important that others get to hear what your experiences feel like.
I don’t understand how exactly this piece was ‘outside’ your comfort zone but I accept that it was. It’s just harder to share intimate details of bodily functions with people outside our intimate circle.

Is George a good listener?
Cathy,
